:( HELP!!! can no longer use web radio?
Please help me............................
I listen to TalkSport daily but for the last few days I have been unable to access it.
I can load the page but when I click 'LISTEN NOW' it starts to connect then says 'ready' but nothing happens?
I've tried downloading things called 'WIDGETS' but that didn't help, maybe it's my firewall??? Lord knows how you change that?
Please help as have gone round in circles for the last 7 hours and am contemplating putting this laptop where the sun don't shine lol!

I await any help :)

Many thanks in advance,

Howdy,

Can you give us a link to the site you use so we can test it.....

Also if this worked a couple of days ago you can try System Restore back to a date when it was working...see if it works

Restore PC to an Earlier Date & Time

Go Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools>>System Restore

  • Click in the radio button Restore My Computer to An Earlier Time
  • Click Next
  • Pick a Date in Dark Blue only (pick a date to before you installed All-In-One)
  • Click Next
  • Then Next again.
This should restore the PC to that time & date

It will update and restart

It has finished doing it's restore but the problem hasn't been resolved :(
It still won't play any sound.
It starts to load the page and says 'connecting' but then says 'Ready' straight away without doing anything yet it still works on another machine.

I've tried going into Windowes Media Player, Tools, Open URL and entering the link for Talksport but it tells me it cannot play the type of file or that it may be compressed by codec???
Thats all greek to me...

Yeah!
the yellow/black Listen Live media player button wich takes you to another screen which loads the audio (this is whats not working).
I am now trying to use it via Windows Media Player but it keeps telling me it doesn't support the file???

Click on Tools and the top and Internet Options and look in the list for turn popup blocker off

When you go to that page do you get a beige bar pop up at the top?
