    I need help in getting rid of this about blank hijacker. Have ran spybot, spysweeper. adaware, and virus scan, but still no luck. Here is hijack log.

    before even looking at your log , i wanted to asj if you have tried to reset your about blank home page i am assuming that your talking about .... on IE tools /internet options and there change your home page to what you like example .. http://www.google.com
    if not then ill be glad to assist more .

    Yes I have tried resetting it several times but just keeps reverting back to same thing, thanks for the quick response

    Right click on the file and choose install.

    Run hijackthis and fix the following items. Be sure all windows are closed except for hijackthis.

    when i did another hijack to fix problems the 015 items did not show up, but fixed the others. trying to use 2 puters at once since the 1 is so slow between dialup and all problems. other is broadband so please be patient with me. also have way to many things running at once. here is new log

    still get the about blank search page when click on home, tried changing again but still comes up. weatherbug i will probably get rid of just wasnt sure since its not my computer

    Go to Internet Options, Programs
    Click the "Reset Web Settings" Button to reset your home and search pages.

    Also do this, restart in safe mode.

    Navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

    Next navigate to the C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator (Repeat for all user names)\Local Settings\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

    Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button. Click Apply then OK.

    Download this file

    Extract the file to the c:\ drive. Then navigate to the c:\getservices and double-click on the getservices.bat file. A notepad will open up. Please paste the contents of that notepad as a reply to this post along with a new HJT log.
