I rebooted my computer just now and Firefox said please wait while firefox updates.
It didn't seem to complete the task. The little hour glass is blinking on and off. I opened task manager and Firefox tries to start and then quits and on and on.
I hate to reinstall because I will lose all of my bookmarks. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Start Firefox in safe mode.
Start> Mozilla Firefox> Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode).
If it starts, then it is an extension or theme effecting Firefox.
When you uninstall Firefox, it doesn't delete your profile folder.
You can save a copy of your bookmarks.html in the Profile folder to make sure.
