Hi,

Trying to get this formula to work but does not seem to want to.

=IF(A1>0,"2.4m",+IF(A1<2401,"3.6m",0))

So basically I want A2 to display two different types of information. If A1 is greater than 0, display 2.4m. If A1 is greater than 2400, display 3.6m. If not then 0.

But all I get is 2.4m even though the number is greater than 2400.

Thanks in advance

The way you have the formula written, any number greater than zero will result in a TRUE result for the first IF() test and never gets to the second IF() test. See if the following gives you the desired results:

Code:
=IF(A1>2400,"3.6m",IF(A1>0,"2.4m",0))
EDIT: The above information applies to MS-Excel. Not sure how to solve the problem if you are using a different spreadsheet application.
