Move HijackThis.exe to a permanent folder like – C:\hjt – this is critical in case we have to recover anything

Download but don’t run CWShredder http://www.intermute.com/spysubtract/cwshredder_download.html

Print this and boot to safe mode

Open cwshredder.exe then click "Fix" and let it run.

    Fix these with HJT

    View Hidden Files
Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab.
Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".
Now click "Apply to all folders", Click "Apply" then "OK"

    Delete these files

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\kjagp.dll

    START – RUN – key in %temp% - Edit – Select all – File – Delete
    Empty the recycle bin
Boot and post a new log

Thanks. I tried what you said and it still didnt work. The browser still goes back to about:blank. The file you told me to delete was not found in the system32 folder (kjagp.dll)

Here is the new hjt file. It still goes back adding the about blank enteries. What can I do?

    Delete these files

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\kjagp.dll

START – RUN – key in %temp% - Edit – Select all – File – Delete – Make sure you are doing the OWNER’s temp file

    Empty the recycle bin

In safe mode - make sure of that

    Run CWS again

    go to every C:\Documents and Settings\......\Local Settings\Temp

And delete all files in that folder

Make sure you did the show hidden files

If you have any doubts ask
