Hi everyone: Having trouble with BOTH IE and Firfox. I cannot access CERTAIN websites.Yet others are fine. Best example is neither IE or FF can access go daddy. I have an old aol account and tried that and it accessed it fine. My computer guy came a few weeks ago and got everything running but now it has happened again.

I'm running AVG; Adaware and Windows Defender. Always have without a problem. Acutally, AVG was just put on a few months ago.

another point. I've always had Adwatch turned off on adaware. It seems to have turned on somehow. Also, there is NO ICON on the task bar for me to turn off.

    .

    With Firefox
Here are two examples: When I go to www.godaddy.com on mozilla I get the following:
"Connection Interrupted The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again"

    With ID
when I go to the same website using IE I get the following:
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
    The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address. " There are some other websites that do not come up, yet www.micosoft.com did come up...even after I "refreshed"

Other details: When I open AOL (no comments please, I've had it since the beginning an use it for junk mail and extra email addresses) go daddy opens fine.

Incidentally, I can access other webpages on IE and FF However, I can access FEWER website with IE.

I'm placing my HJT resutls and log file below: thanks for your help
