    Hi deanlewis, Welcome to TSG!!

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: PCTools Site Guard - {5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB} - C:\PROGRA~1\SPYWAR~1\tools\iesdsg.dll (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Have you searched your drive for the file - Webdlg32.dll ?

It may be hidden so open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab. Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". Now click "Apply to all folders" Click "Apply" then "OK".

    Thanks for your advice Cybertech,
I carried out the file search again with all files selectable, but still could not find it.
I ran the Hijacker program again and checked the 3 boxes.
    I ran nav again and it still found the two files;
    C:\windows\downloaded program files\webdlg32.dll
    C:\windows\downloaded program files\conflict.1\webdlg32.dll

The hijacker program has created a backup folder, is this why nav is still finding the files?.

I have now also got a desktop icon appeared "desktop notepad" config settings, windows media player [email protected]:\windows\inf\unregmp2.exe,-4 Do I keep this or delete it, when I try to delete it advises not to do so.

Sorry to be a pest , current log file below.

    Thanks Deano.

type the following press enter after each line

    del c:\windows\downloaded program files\webdlg32.dll
    del C:\windows\downloaded program files\conflict.1\*.*
    rd C:\windows\downloaded program files\conflict.1

Just tried these, and got "the specified module could not be found" for the first one and "the system cannot find the path specified" for the other. I copied and pasted both.

    Deano

    Download the KillBox

Unzip the files to your desktop.

In the Full Path of File to Delete field paste each of the following, one at a time then click the red circle with the white X in it. When it asks you if you want to delete on reboot click Yes, when it asks you to reboot now click No.

    c:\windows\downloaded program files\webdlg32.dll

    C:\windows\downloaded program files\conflict.1\webdlg32.dll

    Close Killbox.

Reboot and try your scan again.
