    Hiya

You could try going to your History folder. Now, I have Win2000 and its set mine to c:\Documents and Settings\myname\Local Settings\History

But, if you go to Find Files and type in history, that will show you the path for your folder. You can delete the history from there.

When the history remains, have you rebooted to see if they go? Sometimes a reboot is required.

    Regards

Hi Eddie, thanks for your help.I found the history folder but I can't see any way of deleting things there,if I click on it it shows index.dat,I don't like to mess with that!I had 95 before and I could delete from that file easily, this seems different!
I've just rebooted and history list is still there, any Ideas?

Ah, the .dat file. Forgot about that one.

Go here and download Spider, v 1.16

    http://www.fsm.nl/ward/

Now, when you're about to run it, you may want to go to Options | Complete Harddrive. Then, click the magnifying glass to start the scan. When it's done, you can click the next icon to cleanup.

The SpiderBite will say that none of the files were found. Don't bother using this.

    Regards
