    Real Update and Aim may have to be disabled from the options in those programs themselves. Sorry, I should have mentioned that.....also, try unchecking them from start button, run, msconfig, startup tab, uncheck all 4 then see if they are still running.

    My aim still works so no prob there! ANd I will check the startup and uncheck..I believe they are! Update REAL is no big deal to me , right?

    Anyways..just trying to speed this dog up HAHA! Its running about 52%

    The only thing being, is that it doesn't need to start everytime you start the computer. Is it running 52% at startup? If so, that's not all that great ;)

    Yiu mean right when I opent he computer and everything gets set..what is it running??? I believe it was like 71% at star then as the day goes on or the more I am on it goes lower. Like right now it is 55%? any ideas??? Sometiems i have to go into msconfig and uncheck things I KNOW i unchecked> Let me restart and see what the resourses are..BRB

    Ok when I do a restart it comes up as 71%

    Now let me check while I am on the internet....it is 66%

    Iguess it is becuase I am on the internet adn ont he site or something...Now thats kinda weird. I cant scan either so I will do a scan tonight in safe mode while sleeping.

    If oyu have any ideas about this let me know! My scan restarts itself over and over again!
