The hijack you have is a CWS hijack. You need to run CWShredder to get rid of it.

Click here to download CWShredder. Close all browser windows,UnZip the file, click on the cwshredder.exe then click "Fix" (Not "Scan only") and let it do it's thing.

When it is finished restart your computer.

IMPORTANT!: To help prevent this from happening again, I strongly recommend you install the patches for the vulnerabilities that this hijacker exploits.

The simplest way to make sure you have all the security patches is to go to Windows update and install all "Critical Updates and Service Packs"

Also there is no doubt that these are known trojans:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [win32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\win32.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [svchost] C:\WINDOWS\svchost.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [svchost] C:\WINDOWS\SVCHOST.EXE

After running CWShredder run Hijack This again and put a check by any of these that are left. Close all windows except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

    Restart to safe mode.

How to start your computer in safe mode

First in safe mode click on My Computer. Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and "Hide extensions for known file types" . Now click "Apply to all folders"
    Click "Apply" then "OK"

    Now find and delete:

    The c:\windows\win.exe file
    The C:\WINDOWS\win32.exe file
    The C:\WINDOWS\svchost.exe file

*Note: There is a legitimate windows file called svchost.exe in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. Do Not delete that one.

    Empty the recycle bin.

    Download this zip.

    http://www.zero.vulc4n.com/downloads/pv.zip

    unzip it to the desktop.

Be sure to have at least 1 internet explorer window open.

    Double click on the runme.bat

This will open a command window. In the command window enter the digit 1 by hitting the 1 key on your keyboard and then hit the Enter key.

Notepad will open with a log in it. Please copy and paste the log into this thread.

It sounds like CWS has replaced notepad.exe. Some variants of CWS do that. You should have a copy of notepad.exe in both C:\Windows and in C:\Windows\System32.

    Download this copy of notepad.exe:

    http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/windows/notepad_xp.zip

Extract this copy to both the C:\Windows and in C:\Windows\System32 folders and answer yes when prompted to overwrite the existing files.

I'm off to work now, but will check back here later this afternoon.

Just right click on the notepad_xp.zip and choose "Extract All". The Extraction Wizard will appear. In that window click on the "Browse" button. In that window click the + sign beside My Computer. Under My Computer click on Local Disk C:. Under Local Disk C: select Windows. Don't click the + sign by Windows just hightlight Windows and click OK. It will extract the new notepad.exe file to the windows folder. You should get a prompt asking if you want to overwrite the existing notepad file. Click Yes.

Now perform the same procedure again. Right click on the notepad_xp.zip and choose "Extract All". The Extraction Wizard will appear. In that window click on the "Browse" button. In that window click the + sign beside My Computer. Under My Computer click on Local Disk C:. Under Local Disk C: select Windows. This time click the + sign by Windows and find System32. Highlight System32 and click OK. You should get a prompt asking if you want to overwrite the existing notepad file. Click Yes.

Now see if you can run the runme.bat file and produce the log and post it here.
