When I try to install Adobe Reader X it says:

"Error 1402. Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\...\MSFS

Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."

So how do I give myself access to that key?

    Thank you

You may need administrative access. Are you an administrator? If not contact yours.

It's my personal computer and when I go into safe mode I can log in as the administrator so I guess I am the administrator.

Adobe Reader 10 has some problems. I went to Foxit Reader (as suggested by catmilk) and subsequently uninstalled Adobe. Foxit works just fine for all *.pdf files.

Thank you! I was able to install Foxit Reader and use it. So I am satisfied. Thanks again!
