I have xp home. I use word perfect 12. I installed word perfect 8 today just to see if it would help me open some files that wouldn't open in 12 (it didn't work.) Now I want to uninstall word perfect 8, but it is not listed in add/remove programs and I can't find an uninstall feature anywhere, whether on the wp program or on xp....how do I get rid of it?

Look in the directory that WP 8.0 is installed in. Sort by file type and look for an uninstall.exe or something along those lines.

good suggestion, but I did that and came up empty. Any other ideas? It seems pretty absurd that windows xp will not list this program in add/remove programs...what sense does that make?

Ok, I found the uninstall feature within the setup on the original cd. It didn't show up until you started the install feature. So, it's taken care of.
