My son is giving me one of their old laptops. My present PC has AT&T which I prefer.

How do I get AT&T Yahoo on the donated PC? I did a lot of searching but only found their Toolbar (which I do not have or want.

either go to http://mail.yahoo.com with your web browser,

...or configure your email program -- This article was taken from http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB401738 (XP - Outlook Express, but you can pretty much use the same servers/ports on any mail program)
    Incoming (POP)
    Outgoing server (SMTP)
    (requires authentication) Incoming mail server:
    User Name:
Full AT&T email address, including domain
(e.g., [email protected], [email protected]) Incoming mail port #:
995, secure connection (SSL) checked Outgoing mail port #:
    465, secure connection (SSL) checked
