    Hi all..
Whenever my windows corrupts or i need to recover files from it i use Ubuntu Live CD to get the job done. But what to do if Ubuntu itself gets corrupt and i need to recover some important data from the system?

Actually currently I'm not facing any such problem but just wanted to know...

Thanks in advance for all the upcoming replies.. :)

You should be making regular backups if the data is that important to you.

Try the Ubuntu (or other Linux distribution) Live CD method. :)

Perhaps I'm over-cautious (?!!) but - I keep 2 spare bootable USBs with different Linux o/s on plus a couple of bootable live CDs/DVDs as backuplive o/s plus I backup all my important docs/pics etc to two other external hard drives.

Any Linux Live CD can rescue another installed Linux!
