Hello again,

When ever I start my computer it gives me the option of 1 normal 2. (forgot) 3 safe mode 4 (forgot) and 5 (forgot)--sorry about 2,4,5.

I was always choose 1 normal. I only choose 3 when fixing problems that require me to do so in safe mode.

Is this normal? Here is the latest log:

Thankks inadvance:

Start, run, type msconfig and hit enter, startup tab, I believe (not on a 98 machine right now), uncheck the box for the startup menu.

Click Start - Run, type in MSCONFIG, then click OK - Startup(tab). Make sure that ScanRegistry is checked and enabled, click OK - Apply, then reboot. I don't see it in your list of running processes. ScanRegistry and SystemTray are 2 running processes that should always remain checked and enabled.
