HP XE736

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have my sister-in-law's very old computer to try and salvage certain files/folders on the hard drive for her. I have broadband but cannot connect to her PC because she only has the phone ports on the machine. Is there a way I can improvise to allow me to connect to the web? I haven't been successful in installing USB drivers for this old machine. If I could do that, I could possibly copy from my PC some items I may be able to use on her PC. She has run Win98SE since she first bought the machine when new.And finally, she has no burner. As usual, TIA.

Why not just take the hard drive out and slave it to your machine?

Finally getting back to my problem. Thanks for suggesting slaving the old HD to my installed HD. Didn't think of that and thank you Candy.
Am running AV and malware on the old HD now.
