[SOLVED] i have lost default java?

    i just tried to load an app and i get a message saying "to display this page correctly, you need to download and install the following components: Java virtual machine"

    i click download and its 17kb, download it now what?

    erm, any tips on what version i need? this came with my pc so i didnt download 1st one

    Try 3810 since that is the latest one.

    If you are prompted for needing a previous one, then install that first and upgrade to 3180

    another error... "the setup will only upgrade an existing version of the microsoft VM"

    ive downloaded java virtual machine 3810 and i get this error after i install it "the setup will only upgrade an existing version of the microsoft VM"

    Download and install the 3805 version. Then upgrade it by installing the 3810 update (some security issues were fixed in the update).
