As the heading says.......... Well not quite.

My problem is that I have photos that I'm using as buttons on my web page. The trouble is that because they are of good quality they are taking ages to load. As they are buttons they don't need to be of good quality.

Can anyone tell me how to reduce the quality so they load quicker?

    I have photoshop if needed.

in photoshop - change the image size - reduce the actual pixels to the size you need for the image on the button, I suspect you are using Height and Width in the webpage controls , that way the webpage will not have to do the down sizing - make sure you keep the originals though.

    Thanks etaf.
I can resize no problem. I just found that a .jpg loads takes ages compared to a .gif so I changes all the buttons.
    Now works great.
I now have a new problem that I'll post on the web & software forum.
