Last night out of nowhere my quick launch icons became blacked out as well as my program icons, and internet address icon. They seem to be working fine but it is somewhat of an annoyance, can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

    This covers the basic problem:

    http://www.techadvice.com/w98/I/IconCacheFile-rebuild.htm

You may also be able to prevent future occurances by expanding the default size of this cache.

If you want to do that, download and fully unzip the attached file.

Then double click it and confirm the merge to the registry.
