Solved: IE not working but firefox is

    Ok dont know what happened but my internet explorer says cannot display web page and after a network diagnostics it says the remote device or resource wont accept the connection for good measure I included a hijack this log and if it matters I have windows seven

    1. Check Internet Options - Connections tab - LAN settings... - there should be no boxes checked unless you really are using a proxy.

    2. You may have Norton set to block IE.

    3. Reset Internet Explorer 8 settings

    Actually I reset everything to default in the options and it came back
