[Solved] Ie6

I'm having trouble with the ie6 I can't uninstall it or fix it I tried everything that was posted so far and nothing ..I tried to repair it uninstall it I tried downloading the ie5 and it won't let me cause I have a newer version ie6 but it won't let me get rid of the ie6.
also my liveupdate on my norton antivirus won't work it says fail to initialize

Welcome to TSG!
Older Norton antivirus programs have had problems with IE6 from what I have read.
Here is a MS KB article that address removal of IE6. You will have to sift through all the information to find out exactly where you are in the uninstall process.
