For the past few weeks I have noticed when clicking on certain links from my home page: Yahoo.com, that the page will load then all of a sudden it goes to another page stating this:"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" This is a random thing and only occurs with this combination, IE8 and my home page, Yahoo.com. I click on the tab to check internet connection and it cannot find anything wrong.
I use Yahoo.com as my home page on Google Chrome with no problems at all.

I have so far restored all settings in IE8 to default and still no luck.

Thanks,

Ron

Suggest you use Firefox instead - one of the reasons many have switched to Firefox (apart from the security reasons) is because they got fed up with the "can't find page" error in IE. Google Chrome is another alternative of course (which you already use with no problems) but despite it's speed it's seriously lacking in time-saving features & extensions. That's where Firefox rules the roost.

Firefox also gets updated with new features several times a year - with IE it's every 3 or 4 years (not counting security patches)!

Thank you for your input, will give it a try. I have just downloaded Slim Browser and so far so good. Very easy to use and set up. Will give them both some time and see which one prevails.
