hey my dads computer has a legal windows xp serial code but when i do the genuine advantage it fails. it DOESNT show up sayin it is illegal in the taskbar. but this makes it hard to download stuff from the microsoft webite.
is there any FREE way to make it legal without using serialcodes or buying it again.

    thx bye

If you have a legit Windows key then the only thing you can do is to call up Microsoft and have them help you correct the problem. Any other method of fixing it won't be allowed to be discussed here.
