A couple of weeks ago the phone company did major work on the lines around here. Before that, my web pages loaded with images appearing immediately. Now, I get image place holders which then covert into images. It's not much slower - it's just that the image place holders bug me and I wonder if some settings have changed on the PC that alter the way that pages load?

    Hiya

Not sure if this will help, but it may be a setting in the Options:

Control Panel | Internet Options. Advanced tab. Scroll down to Multimedia, and untick Show Image Download Placeholders....Apply and OK

    Regards

It was already unticked, but Show Pictures just under it was not ticked. I ticked Show pictures and ISSUE SOLVED. Many thanks Eddie.
