This is a follow on to a closed earlier thread. I had some garbled text in an email message from an iPad, received on the Eudora email program (Win 8.1 laptop).
Copying the characters to an online UUE decoder did not work, nor did placing the characters in a Notepad text file, changing the extension to .uue, and then dropping into IE 11.
However pasting the original characters into a Notepad .txt file, saving/closing and then re-opening did work, the encoded icons displayed correctly.
