Aloha,
I am using Netscape 7.2 as my browser and I also have 4 other users that can log on to their own account on one computer. All the other Netscape browsers looks ok but mine is very different. I am running Windows 98se and everything seems to work ok except by browser. I will post two pictures, one shows how it should look like and the other will be the bad one and I will also include a hijack log file. The picture on left is how it should look and the one on the right is the bad one.TIA

Looks as though you've lost your page style settings in your Netscape. I haven't run 7.52 in a long time, so I don't remember where in the Preferences to find them. An easy way to fix this would be to copy the Profile folder from one of the other users on your system that has their Netscape set up like yours was and paste it over the Profile in your user account. This will probably fix how the browser renders the pages. However, you'll lose your bookmarks and some other settings. You can always back-up your bookmarks before and then replace them after you've done the fix.

The proper way to repair this would be to go to your NS Preferences and compare your settings to the settings of one of your other users' NS.

Either way... LUCK!

~Eric

PS: I didn't see anything in your HJT that was particularly ugly.

Aloha vtel57,
Thanks for the reply and I checked in the Preferences and they are the same. This all started when I clicked on "Download Netscape Browser" but I didn't download anything. Today I was checking everything again and I clicked on the "Download Netscape Browser" again and then went back to home. Now the browser is ok! I don't know what happened but it looks like it is fixed. I tried clicking on the "Download Netscape Browser" and going back and forth to home and it is still good. Thanks again for the help.

Sometimes, when we're real lucky, things just fix themselves. ;)
