Hello-

I work in a company of about 60 people. We are running Windows 2000 Advanced Server for our exchange server and we are looking into setting up a fax server. We are running T1 lines for our network and internet access but can have a dial-up modem for the faxes. How would be the best way to set this server up so that our users can send and receive faxes from their PC's? Currently we have accounts with www.efax.com but are looking to cut some costs as well as make faxing messages more convenient for our users.

Thanks for your help!!

Windows 200 has fax sharing capabilities already if I am not mistaken. If you install it you can fax directly from Outlook contacts or if you also run Exchange from global groups.

by activating this feature in windows 2000, will it still be able to determine which e-mail the incoming fax should be routed to?

It doesn't route to email, this is a fax, it will print to a local printer.
