This little thing keeps popping up and is getting in my way! Apparently came with an update and can't delete from add/remove programs. Advice?

Can you give us the exact error message?

You can also take a screenshot of the pop-up.

    To take a screenshot,

1- Hit the Printscreen key on your keyboard. This will copy your entire screen to the clipboard. Hitting ALT + Printscreen will only copy the active window.

2- Open Paint. (click Start > Run > type mspaint and click OK)

    3- Select Edit.

4- Click on Paste. (or simply press CTRL+V on your keyboard)

    5- Select File.

    6- Click on Save As...

7- Save your screenshot as a JPEG file.

8- Attach the screenshot to your next post.

Are you getting that error on multiple websites or only this one?

    Open Internet Explorer.

Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Browsing.

Put a check inside the following boxes:

    Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)

    Disable Script Debugging (Other)

    Uncheck:

Display a notification about every script error

Then you need to isolate the add-on causing that error.

1- Please click HERE to download HijackThis.

    2- Run the program.

3- Click on the Main Menu button if not already there.

4- Select Do a system scan and save a logfile.

5- Copy and paste the scan log from Notepad into your next reply. Do not attach it.

6- Do not "Fix" anything unless advised to do so.

You'll need to isolate the add-on not agreeing with Internet Explorer.

    Click Tools > Manage Add-ons.

The Manage Add-ons window will appear.

In the Manage Add-ons window, you can control which extension, toolbar, search providers, accelerators your browser is using.

In the Manage Add-ons window, select Toolbars and Extensions. There you can see the toolbars and extensions that you have currently installed. Select the add-on you want to modify. If the toolbar or extension is enabled, in the lower-right part of the window you will see the Disable button. If you click on it, it will disable that toolbar/extension.

Proceed with disabling one add-on after the other. Try browsing with that one add-on disabled after refreshing the page. If that doesn't change anything, proceed with another add-on. The Google Toolbar and the Shockwave Flash Object are examples of what you can start with.

You don't seem to have Java installed on that computer. If not, you'll need to download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0_31.
