When I go to my email in Vista, I get a popup windows that asks for user name and password. When I type it in it says it's invalid. My ip (AT&T) agent tried to help me but couldn't. He said everything was correct but we can't get rid of that window and I can't connect to my windows mail. I've been working on this thing for few days an hour or two at a time and I'm at a lose as to what else to try. If someone could give me a hand I sure would appreiciate it. Thanks in advance.

When I go to my email in Vista ...
Are you using an email client (e.g., Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook, Windows Mail, ...)? If so, which one?

Are you using web mail? If so, which mail service and which browser?

Mr. Moderater, I'll have to mark this one solved but I'm still scratching my head over it! When I clicked on my email ( not expecting anything at all ) I entered my user name and password like always and low and behold it opened up! Yesterday the error message kept telling me the user name and password was incorrect and I'm still using the same two items. Go figure, huh? Thanks for responding anyway. Wait..let me answer your question because someone else might have the same trouble and it might help them or me for that matter if it does it again! I'm using Windows Mail and my mail service is AT&T.yahoo. If you have instructions and have the time perhaps you could still post a solution. Thanks.

perhaps you could still post a solution.
Be patient until is starts working. :D Seriously, can't even guess at a solution since we don't know what caused the problem.

You're welcome. :)
