    Through ebay, specifically?

I ask, because I just won a bid on ebay and sent the MO, but apparently the MO got lost in the mail (I mean, c'mon, it doesn't take 2 weeks for an MO to go from MN to CA, does it?!) :(

Depends on the product and whether you're buying and selling. You need to check out their site and find out if you're covered under the buyer/seller protection policy. They also take a big cut out of the transaction when exchanging currencies.

Yes, most of my paypal activity has been via ebay. M/O can get lost and it shouldn't take 2 weeks. (n)

Hm. Sorry that it's off topic, but is there any way to track an MO?

Yes, but it will cost ya. Ya do it with the stub and the issuer of the M/O (western-union, ace, etc)

Sellers have problems with it more often than buyers, you should be ok using it for eBay purchases.

If the M/O is from the post office they can trace it to see if it got cashed. Same with the others I would assume.
