It is almost certainly 100% pirated software. Their contact webpage either is blank, leads you to email contact (only) or is full of grammatical errors. Not very professional at all.

Boy, these people sure are brazen. They even take credit cards.

Of course-I understand that stolen credit card numbers are very profitable. Heck, they might not even charge you for the download (but they'll charge plenty of other stuff to you if you give them your credit card number).

It was one of those I-feel-stupid-for-asking questions; but, thanks for the replies.

Yeah, I like how they display the VeriSign logo and their certificate isn't signed by them.

Download and install add-on for IE8 and Firefox from www.mywot.com.

When you Google gives a Red/Amber/Green circle warning on each link.

Paste a link into www.mywot.com for a manual search and further info.

Both my browsers also usually automatically ask me if I was sure about clicking on dodgy sites. But didnt on this one. Must check my warning options.

Or Maybe it is cos it is not listed as dodgy, merely unknown.

Doesnt dent my confidence in mywot. Its an essential util.

    From their "About Us" page:

"Thousands customers made a choice...what about You?"

Me? I'd not have anything to do with them!!!

Ah, it just keeps getting better and better! If you run a Whois search for the domain, you find that the domain name uses a Turkish registrar (which limits some of the personal information released) even though the domain owner apparently is located in Florida: http://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/gold-oem.com

Nothing suspicious there! In fact, you can't obtain a legal, downloadable copy of Windows 7, or any Microsoft OS, unless you are a member of some specific MS programs. Any sites with similar offers are bogus.
