ok... this may not make sense, but.......
My work uses the Novell Netware Logon thingy whenever you get on the computer. Before I actually worked here and was just a volunteer, I used the name and password of an ex-employee, Anne. I never had any problems at all. I used my AOL and YAHOO and things were just fine.
When I got employeed here, they changed my name and password for me, and the settings on my computer changed. Now that I am logging on using my own name and password, my computer has gone haywire. Pop-ups show up on my computer all the time, whether I'm using Internet Explorer or not. CONSTANT pop-ups. It's gets so bad that I can't even do typing work in Microsoft Word because they pop up so often...
I also get a message whenever I log on that says:
" wintask.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program error log.
Ive ran Spybot and Adaware and even thought it finds problems, THIS problem has yet to be fixed by running these things.
The computer guy here is NO help, which means Im going to have to do this myself . Can anyone help?!
