Solved: java not working properly to load runescape

    hello, recently i have tried to play runescape (which requires java to play) and when i start up the application it just says "application failed to load" and the details it gives say this :

    i have uninstalled and reinstalled many, many times but i cannot get it to work, help please?

    Hm. Not too intelligent on this topic, but I'll try help you out. Do you have the latest version of Java? If not, you can get the latest version at: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

    What internet browser and operating system are you running? Java may not support certain OS's and Browsers. Java works with the following operating systems:

    * Windows 7
    * Vista
    * Windows XP/2000
    * Windows Server 2008
    * Windows Server 2003

    i do have the latest version, im running windows 7 64 bit, and im using firefox, yet it still isnt working :(

    I have had that problem before. Did RS work before you upgraded? I upgraded once and could not load, so I downgraded. After that, it worked great.

    well it worked before i decided to update my java, but i have used older ones again and it still wont work :/
