Solved: Just installed Logitech MX 5000 Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse......now no sound

Hello All,

Thank you for your time.

I have just finished installing Logitech MX 5000 Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse. It really screwed up my pc. Disabled all my optical drives (I have over 3) as well as my sound card.

Managed to get everything else to work except for the sound card.

Any ideas?

Sound Card Creative SB Live!

FWIW what does Device Manager tell you?

No errors to report.

I get a error message saying

"There are no active mixer devices available"

It then suggests that I install it.

My sound card is installed, as well as the drivers that came with the Asus MB A7V8X.

PLEASE HELP!

More easy questions. Everything OK in Control Panel/Sound? Nothing muted, right sound device chosen, speakers on etc.

Not really.

It says that there are no audio devices.

I have not touched a thing..all I did was install the Logitech keyboard.

I did not unplug/uninstal/remove/move anything on my pc.

Finally fixed it....sort of.

Reinstalled WIN XP PRO.
