i have intel pentium 4 processor.i dont have motherboard cd.last week i format my pc and installed xp.now i am unable to setup broadband because my pc doesnot have LAN CARD DRIVER installed.Can anyone here tell me how and from where i can get LAN CARD DRIVER for my pc.

Go to the Device Manager.

If there are any entries with a ? or ! next to them, double-click them to open their properties window.

Click the "Details" tab and then select "Hardware Id".

There should be a string that has VEN_####&DEV_#### as part of it.

Advise what the numbers and letters are that follow VEN_ and DEV_.

Be careful not to make any typos because those vendor and device codes are what identify the devices.

Awesome This is why I asked your make and model PC (it's common people don't realize how easy it is to find drivers once we know you're computer specs! Please select this thread as solved so other tech's know your issue has been fixed :)
