When I connect my laptop with hdmi cable it happens like this that I can see what i am writing on the laptop when the tv is on, I do not want this, i want them to be separated like at home i did the same thing but then the screens where not as now!

I dont know if this makes any sense but just someone help me please!!!!

i want them to be separated
what exactly do you mean

you can extend the screen - so that as you move items to the right of your laptop screen they appear on the TV

but that is exactly the problem i cant move anything it seems that the tv has replicated my laptop screen so everything i do on my laptop i see on my tv and it is disturbing while watching for example a movie to see it from both laptop screen and the tv screen!

you need to change the display to extended
what windows version do you have ?

Right click on your desktop
Personalise>
display settings>
monitors listed (1,2 or 2,1)>
