I just upgraded my AOL Instant Messenger to the latest "improved" version. I think it's 5.9. I am not liking it at all. Sure all new features but it slows down everything. Simply opening a window is causing a lag. Yet if I exit the program completely, it works totally fine.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Can I just remove it in Add/Remove and re-download an older version like 5.1?

Yeahhhh...

I couldn't take it anymore so I uninstalled it and downloaded version 5.1. It works perfectly fine now with no lag.

Dang...I sure wouldn't recommend upgrading to 5.9 :(
