I have searched and searched and done everything everyone has suggested and now I am lost. My VISTA laptop will not connect to the network. My initial reaction was malware. However, after running Malwarebytes, TDSKiller, and all the other steps I normally take for malware and it all came up negative.
I did a ipconfig /all and transferred it with a flash drive. I have pasted below:

If you are trying to connect by ethernet likely the cable or NIC is defective. If you were not trying ethernet for that ipconfig /all, are you able to connect by ethernet?

What security applications (firewall, security suite, anti-virus, etc.) do, or did, you have on the machine?

    (From a JohnWill post)

TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Vista or 7.

Start - All Programs - Accessories and right click on Command Prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

Reset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

    Reboot the machine.

I am at work this morning and will check stuff when I get home. I cannot connect wireless or wired. My other laptop and both of my desktops connect just fine. I am using the typical Windows firewall and Norton Antivirus but have been for over a year now. It just started messing up this week.

Uninstall Norton and run Symantec's Norton Removal Tool before the stack repairs. You can reinstall Norton after testing.

    You're welcome. :)

Norton isn't the only one that gets corrupted and needs to be "refreshed." They all seem to; with the exception of Microsoft Security Essentials--haven't run across any problems with it yet.
