I am running Vista Home Premium. I know it does not have the Local Security Policy. Does anyone know how I can go about changing auditing services like turning on Logon Success and Logon Failure audits. Also, do you know where to change the options for password lengths, complexity, and expiration's?

    Thank you,

    David

Just type: net accounts /? at a cmd prompt. Should shed some light for you.

    Code:
    C:\>net accounts /?
The syntax of this command is:

    NET ACCOUNTS
    [/FORCELOGOFF:{minutes | NO}] [/MINPWLEN:length]
                 [/MAXPWAGE:{days | UNLIMITED}] [/MINPWAGE:days]
                 [/UNIQUEPW:number] [/DOMAIN]

    C:\>

Thanks for the very fast response and help. I suppose if I want more security, I will need to upgrade to ultimate or downgrade back to XP Pro. I am sure this was one of Microsoft's tricks to make more money off of us. "Monopoly"

The home version of an operating system just isn't designed to offer professional-level security. The vast majority of home users don't need such features, and offering them is not necessary. You might want to look into Vista Business if you have more advanced security needs.
