Solved: Logitech stereo speakers

    I Logitech LS21.2.1 stereo speakers , these are two satellite speakers and a woofer , i had a power outage last night and lost my monitor, when I hooked up my monitor i had to re hook up my speakers now only the woofer works.

    I am running windows XP

    The surge likely damaged the speakers as well, in particular, the amplifier which drives the speakers.

    No, the speaker work, i plugged my Ipod in and they work

    Test with a different set of speakers or headphones. If they also have the same problem, I'd suspect the audio chipset/sound card is also faulty.

    Knowing you had a power surge, you could have multiple faults. I've seen instances on only a single device, such as modem being damaged, to all of the components except the modem being damaged. Just something to keep in mind, you may find more items that don't work or work properly.
