I need to do a repair on Vista SP1

I remember downloading an image for something else that worked once

Looking for an image with SP1 or 2, but must have the OS with it

    Can anyone help ?

where did you d/l the original from? It's difficult, if not impossible, to find OS's for d/l from Microsoft.

    Can't remember

    Was it mydigitallife ?

It was only for repairing an existing system - it would have not have installed

If you read the red text, it tells you that you can use the .iso with a non-Dell computer.

    Yep

Worked after a struggle - first it didn't like Windows PowerShell and had to be removed.

Then got stuck on installing downloaded updates on a restarting loop, so renamed the file Pending.xml in the winsxs folder

    Cheers
