Hi devil, I tried your 1st link and got this message. The file 'msgr3en.dll' on Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 CD is needed. Type the path where the file is located and click OK. Also on the next sugestion, Windows cannot find jscript.dll or vbscript.dll or urlmon.dll

    msgr3en.dll--copy this path when prompted:

This assumes that Windows is installed on the C: drive.

    Try this:

Click start, run, and copy and paste these lines into the run line, one at a time, clicking ok after each....

Post the message you get from each here...

Load Library ("msgr3en.dll") Failed-the specified module could not be found.

Dll Register Server in jscript.dll succeeded
Dll Register Server in vbscript.dll succeeded
Dll Register Server in urlmon.dll succeeded

I found all 4 are in the same folder, but the 1st one couldnt be found by computer.

By the way, much thanks for help

    Reinstalling Search
    ---------------------

    Start > Run >C:\Windows\inf >> Hit Enter
Right click on srchasst.inf and click Install [Insert your WinXp cd when asked]

    Restart your computer
