I'm trying to fix my Grandson's 2004 Dell Dimension 2400,OS Windows XP Home Edition Version 5.1.2600 SP3 build 2600 Processor x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel ~2790 Mhz.He text messages ,and downloads stuff, but also needs it for school. When I started trying to fix it I couldn't go online ,so I ran AVG,AVG AntiRootkit, Spybot S&B,Adaware and Superantispyware, shut off Zone Alarm ,and got on the internet. Then I got Updates for eveything, including the Microsoft up dates.I then ran all those above programs again and started showing "Huntbar"and Trojan"SHeur.CJVO".Although Spybot and Adaware removed some other things they didn't remove these . I ran the Ewido aqnd Kaspersky online scans. I decided I needed help.
I'm afraid there is still something bad on here. Here is the HJT:

Oh, Yikes,When I didn't get a response and my post was marked solved ,I assumed the hijack this was Ok and sent the computer to my Grandson. It seemed to be working quite well ,but on some of the scans I was still having a malware or Trojan turn up. I don't have his PC at this time ,but I'll try to get it and send you a Hijackthis. Or I coud just wait a few weeks until he gets it infected again.haha!

That's okay, anytime is fine :)

The problem is, we have many threads created in the malware section, but only qualified people can assist. As you can imagine, it can get overwhelming, but I try and go back 7 days, to clear up any backlogs.

Just post whenever you can, and then I'll have a look at it for you :)
