    This is McAfee tech support http://ts.mcafeehelp.com/?siteID=1

    How do I uninstall SecurityCenter?

    Summary: This article provides the steps to remove SecurityCenter from your computer.
    Affected Product:

    * McAfee Security Center
    * McAfee VirusScan
    * McAfee Personal Firewall Plus
    * McAfee Privacy Service
    * McAfee SpamKiller
    * McAfee Wireless Network Security
    * McAfee SiteAdvisor
    * McAfee Data Backup
    * McAfee Network Manager
    * McAfee Easy Network
    * McAfee AntiSpyware

    Affected Operating Systems

    * Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
    * Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    * Microsoft Windows XP Home

    To remove SecurityCenter, you must uninstall all other McAfee products. SecurityCenter cannot be removed unless they are uninstalled first.

    Uninstalling using Add or Remove Programs

    Note: Before uninstalling SecurityCenter, you must uninstall VirusScan, Personal Firewall, Privacy Service, and SpamKiller.

    1. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel.
    2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
    3. Locate McAfee SecurityCenter in the list of installed programs.
    4. Highlight SecurityCenter.
    5. Click Add/Remove (or Change/Remove).
    6. Follow the prompts to remove SecurityCenter.
    7. Restart the computer.

    If other McAfee programs and SecurityCenter cannot be uninstalled, do the following:
    Manual removal of McAfee products

    1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\mcafee.com\Agent\app.
    2. Right-click any files that end with .adf and select Delete.
    3. Use Control Panel to remove SecurityCenter, as listed above.

    To uninstall all McAfee 2005, 2006, or 2007 products with the removal tool (MCPR.exe):
    Uninstalling using McAfee Consumer Product Removal Tool

    Note: This tool only works for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 and Windows XP Service Pack 2 operating systems. This tool does not work for Windows 98 and ME systems.

    1. Download the removal tool from http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe.
    2. Click Save and save the file to any folder on the computer.
    3. Navigate to the folder where the file is saved.
    4. Double-click MCPR.exe.
    5. Click Run. A Command Line window will be displayed, and then close automatically. Wait for a second Command Line window to be displayed. (Do not double-click MCPR.exe again.) The program will begin the cleanup.
    6. Observe the installation, which could take several minutes. The following message will be displayed in the Command Line window:

    The machine must reboot to complete the un-installation. Reboot now? [y.n]

    7. Press Y on the keyboard.
    8. Wait for the computer to restart.

    All McAfee products are now removed from your computer.
