One of my end users is having a problem that I don't know how to help with. I added memory to her computer a few days ago and now when she boots up she gets the message: Memory could not be written (condensed version of the message). She clicks on the 'OK' button and the machine boots up without issue. I'm just wondering how I can make the error message stop - and is the machine using the additional memory or ignoring it?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I changed the order of the memory to larger in slots 1 & 3 and smaller in slots 2 & 4. I don't know why that would make a difference, but it did. No more error messages equals a happy end user.
