    Hi
I keep getting a message that the above file is missing.
I have tried a web search but all the sites I have found offering a free download require you to purchase their repair tool before you can download the file (Free !!!)
Can anyone tell me where I can find this file and what to do with it when I have downloaded it, or can I find it on my installation disks?
    regards
    phil

You can download the file here(free)it comes as a zip file so will need extracting first. It usually goes in the c\windows\system32 directory or you can put it in the installation directory of the application that asks for it. http://www.dll-files.com/pop.php?dll=msvcr80

    Hi Lozzy-loz.
    File now downloaded.
I have copied it both to Windows\system32 and the application that was asking for it. Is this likely to cause trouble?
    regards
    phil

I don't think you will have any problems. If you do one or the other can always be removed.Good luck
