    Asus A8N-SLI (3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN)

    compatible with
    Mushkin EM PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL5-5-5-12 240PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit

If not, (which I have hankering it's not, what with DDR2 not being listed) do you have any suggestions for ram that will be?

You mobo is not compatible with DDR2, the only thing you had to stick with it is the old DDR1 (PC3200).
