    Moderator,

I'm having a problem with the site. I have selected to stay logged in but the site makes me log in each time.
When I switch between forums I have to log into each forum separately. Is this something that I'm doing wrong?

You must allow cookies from the website, in your browser. Also make sure you don't have an application blocking them.

    Try these steps:
    Log out of TSG
    Clear cookies and cache.
Restart browser to clear memory cache
Login to TSG then immediately log out
Log back in, see if that cleared it.

    If not, try this:
Log out of TSG, Clear cookies and cache, close browser.
Click Start | Run (or press WinKey+R), type cmd, press Enter
(Vista/Win 7 you can type cmd into the search box)
type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
    Try logging in again.

    Try disabling your firewall temporarily.

Try starting the browser with no add ons to see if an add on is causing this.
    IE:
Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)
    FireFox:
Start | All Programs | Mozilla Firefox | Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)

If that works, you'll need to disable them one or two at a time to see which one is the culprit

This seems like the problem I was having last week, posted here: http://forums.techguy.org/7373445-post5.html
Deleting cookies and temporary internet files did fix it though.

I cleared my cookies once and it had no effect whatsoever. This time I cleared my cookies and made sure to uncheck "Preserve Favorites Website data" and that did the trick. Problem Solved!(y)
