its small and uses an mini itx board (17cm x 17cm) i was looking at these motherboards and see that they all have processors included. i was wondering would it be possible to remove those processors and put in a AMD AThlon Xp 3200+ barton core.

i would like to hear from people who have done this type of project before as it would be very much help full

The ones I have seen are soldered to the board. Some might be zif sockets, however I have not seen one.

One other thing to consider, the 3200+ does run a little warm and you might have a cooling issue with a small case.
