A couple weeks back I installed a new battery in my logitek wireless notebook mouse. Ever since that time I get a pop up in the right corner " new hardware found". Then a window pops up " cannot install this hardware". BUT, the mouse will work. Looking in the device mgr, the mouse shows up as unknown device

I've re downloaded from the Logitek site with no changes

Any Idea?

Thanks

Have you tried plugging in the receiver into another USB port?

Which Logitech mouse is it? Have you tried other batteries just as a test? Or uninstalling and reinstalling the software?
